Each scenario summarises a management strategy or philosophy of seagrass beds in a few lines. Some maps are given, which help with the understanding of the consequences of the management approaches presented and also help to illustrate the scenarios.

 

Scenario 1

6 6 10   Scenario 1Seagrass beds are in good condition. It is not necessary to change the level of protection, but a programme must be implemented to monitor their condition in the long-term and prevent any deterioration.

 

 

Scenario 2

6 6 10   Scenario 2Improve the condition of all seagrass beds around the Golfe du Morbihan. Limit pressure on all potential areas known to have been colonized by seagrass beds.

 

Scenario 3

6 6 10   Scenario 3Just maintain seagrass beds where the level of pressure and impact are not of great concern. Prioritise activities elsewhere.

 

 

 

Scenario 4

6 6 10   Scenario 4Improve the condition of seagrass beds by conserving strategic areas in good condition in the long-term.
